A 9 Days Uganda Safari taking you through Uganda’s top tourist spots; Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with Africa Adventure Safaris.


Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kampala Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, our company guide will welcome you and transfer you to Kampala for refreshment and overnight stay at Sheraton hotel (luxury) or Le petit Village Hotel / Cassia Lodge(deluxe)or Nexus Resort (budget). Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls NP On this day transfer northwards to Murchison Falls national park en route tracking rhinos in Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. After lunch in Masindi Town drive up to the top of Murchison falls – a magnificent spot where the Nile water compresses into a narrow gorge of over 1 km wide down through a 7 meter canyon forming a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the wonders of the Nile River! Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (luxury) / Pakuba Safari Lodge (deluxe)/ Murchison River lodge (budget) (FB)
Day 3: Game drive and the Nile boat cruise After an early breakfast, tour the Northern part with a high concentration of savannah wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs and lions, if you are lucky the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. After lunch, go for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls from where appalling water escapes through the narrow gorge forming a great thunderous uproar. Along the falls water birds and mammals are in great numbers. Return to the lodge for your dinner and an overnight on full board basis.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest national park Transfer to Murchison Falls NP heading Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley while enjoying the sights of traditional homesteads and farms in this verdant country side. You take packed lunch or simply have an early lunch Hoima. The Murchison – Kibale drive is approximately 7 to 9 hours depending on the weather conditions. Stay an overnight at Kyaninga Lodge / Primates Lodge / Mountains of the Moon Hotel
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking Wake up for an early morning breakfast to get ready for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest national park. You need to get to the park headquarters by 8.00 am local time for briefing on the day’s activity by the senior park ranger guide. At 8.30 am you will be transferred to starting point from where the search for chimpanzees begins. There are 95% chances of seeing the chimpanzees in this forest. By mid day you are expected to be back for lunch and later proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park for an evening game drive. Dinner & overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge /Enganzi Safari Lodge (FB)
Day 6: Game drive and Kazinga channel boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park   After an early morning breakfast, undertake a morning game drive to the Kasenyi area expecting to view early morning predators such as leopards, and lions, different antelope species, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, warthogs, waterbucks, etc. For birders, QE national park is a birders’ paradise with over 606 species including a variety of migratory and Albertine Rift Endemics. In the afternoon, at 14:00 hrs you will walk down to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise along the kazinga channel between lakes Edward and George. This is the best place to see a cross section of all the wildlife in this park. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge /Enganzi Safari Lodge (FB)
Day 7: Ishasha Sector tree-climbing lions and Transfer to Bwindi NP After an early breakfast transfer to Bwindi impenetrable Forest NP through the Ishasha – the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth NP for viewing tree-climbing lions which are only here in the whole country. Savannah Hotel is ideal for lunch after a game drive in Ishasha. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening. If you bear gorilla permits for Buhoma sector, a Batwa community trail will be a highlight as you will be treated to cultural dance and music. Overnight stay at Mahogany springs (luxury)/ Bakiga lodge (deluxe)or Buhoma community campsite (budget)
Day 8: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi After an early morning breakfast walk to the park headquarters for briefing and later follow the gorilla trail. It normally takes between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. You will be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for at least an hour. It is advisable that you carry packed lunch as one cannot determine how long it may take to encounter the mountain gorillas. If time and energy allow, you may take a community tour to the Batwa community after tracking Overnight stay at Mahogany Springs (luxury) / Bakiga Lodge (deluxe) or Buhoma community campsite (budget)
Day 9: End of the Uganda Safari After breakfast transfer back to Kampala with lunch en route in Mbarara and arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon for a transfer to the Entebbe airport for your departure flight. Alternatively you may have to be transferred to Kigali airport in Rwanda which is quite close since it is simply a 4 to 5 hours drive. End of the Safari
